Best known as a milliner, Renata has been making hats since 1988 when she moved to  London seeking fame and fortune. London was a great experience for this ‘mad hatter’ in her early twenties – she bought a motorcycle and learned to ride it,  and got her first tattoo with money her sister sent her for towels! She has sold hats at Harrods, designed for a hat factory in Miami, taught millinery classes, wholesaled her designs across North America and co-owned a retail hat and accessory store in Vancouver, Renata has done it all! Although millinery is no longer Renata’s focus she can on occasion be persuaded to create something special…
